The Epson SureColor SC-T5400M  MFP  delivers high-speed scanning and printing of CAD and GIS applications.  Digitise large format originals, make copies and scans-to-file, scan-to-email or scan-to-share with other Epson SC-T printers. The integrated scanner has incredibly fast copying speed and can print an A1 original in less than 22 seconds, for both monochrome and colour. Instantly share and deliver with the scan-to-share function, enabling document sharing via email or sending straight to a folder to share in real-time and eliminate delays.

The Epson SureColor SC-T5400 printer is cost-effective and innovative. Cost reduction options include a preview screen that reduces print mistakes, an option to print only when size matches paper size and images are rotated if necessary.  The Epson SureColor SC-T5400M features front operation means the printer can be placed up against a wall, maximising floor space. Front access to the spindle-less roll holder, ink cartridges, maintenance box and new built-in stacker to aid in the unattended operation and paper basket make it easy to use in a variety of environments.

The Epson SureColor SC-T5400M MFP supports wireless printing, enabling users to print directly from smartphones or tablet devices.  Mobile and cloud printing services supported include Apple AirPrint and WiFi Direct.  The Epson SC-T5400M has an easy to use the large touchscreen and support direct USB printing, for convenience.

The Epson SureColor SC-T5400M features seamless paper changes, between a high capacity large format roll feed and sheet feed, and supports up to A1 cut sheets as well as rolls.  Improve productivity and flexibility with automatic paper loading, which aligns and adjusts paper for optimal tension during loading, and paper switching. The Epson SC-T5400M supports borderless printing.

The Epson SureColor SC-T5400M features UltraChrome XD2 pigment inks, which delivers water-resistant and smudge-free prints, in addition to deep blacks and crisp dense lines, ideal for technical graphics.   The Epson SC-T5400M and UltraChrome XD2 inks print with accuracy and precision, technical, architectural and engineering drawings in great detail, with ease.

The Epson SureColor SC-T5400M includes an integrated CIS (Contact image sensor) scanner with a dual-LED (RGB) light source.   The SC-T5400M scans at an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and has a scanning speed of 4.5 inches/sec for a colour, single-sided document at 200 dpi and  7.5 inches/sec for a monochrome, single-sided document at 200 dpi. The maximum scan length is 30.5m and the output formats are JPEG, TIFF and PDF.  The scanner features advanced document integration, including email, FTP, network folders, USB, and USB memory device.

The Epson SureColor SC-T5400M includes the Epson PrecisionCore Micro Piezo TFP printhead, state-of-the-art technology resulting in fast, highly productive and reliable results. Complex jobs are printed with ease with unparalleled precision. The Epson SureColour SC-T5400M produces 2400 x 1200 dpi, and has a maximum CAD print speed of 22 sec/A1 on plain paper in draft mode and first page out print speeds of 25 seconds for both monochrome and colour prints.  The Epson SC-T5400M includes 1 GB memory.

The Epson SC-T5400M features copying capability and can make a maximum of 99 copies.  The copying feature includes a reduction/enlargement of 25%-400% and a thickness of 0.8mm.

The Epson SC-T5400M  is ideal for office environments with its sleek styling, compact footprint, low noise levels and front operation.  The Epson SureColor SC-T Series is flexible and easy to use, featuring a spindle-less paper holder, auto nozzle check and a 4.3 inch/10.9 cm colour touchscreen LCD. Front operation means the printer can be placed up against a wall, maximising floor space. Front access to the spindle-less roll holder, ink cartridges, maintenance box and new built-in stacker to aid in the unattended operation and paper basket make it easy to use in a variety of environments. No more struggling with a long spindle to insert a media roll. Two separate flanges at each end make replacing media rolls easy. Media can be fed via the sheet friction feed or roll feed and accepts cut sheets from A4 – 36 inches and paper rolls from 10 – 36 inches. An optional automatic paper adapter, easily switchable to support both 2-inch and 3-inch core paper rolls and is available and suitable for most media types. The Epson SureColor SC-T5400M MFP features a durable built-in rotary paper cutter which cuts prints quickly and cleanly. Epson’s auto nozzle check system can be performed before every job or can be set to run automatically between jobs during unattended printing.

The Epson SureColor SC-T5400M  include compatibility with Mac OS 10.6.8 or later, Microsoft Windows and Apple AirPrint. Scanning produces JPEG, TIFF and PDF files, which can be emailed or saved to network folders, FTP, USB and USB memory devices.  The SC-T5400M  is compatible with  Mac OS 10.6.8 or later and Microsoft Windows Vista, 7, 8,10, XP.  The Epson SC-T5400M also supports enhanced HP-GL/2 , HP-RTL , and ESC/P-R.  The Epson SC-T5400M interface support includes USB 3.0,gigabit ethernet interface, Wireless LAN IEEE 802. 11b/g/n (WiFI 4), and Wi-Fi Direct.

The permanent Epson PrecisionCore printhead provides long-life performance and precisely controls droplet shape and volume at a rate up to 50,000 droplets per second, delivering incredible detail and professional output quality at high speeds.  The Epson printhead nozzle configuration includes 800 nozzles for black, and 800 nozzles per colour and produces a minimum 4 picoliter droplet size, with Variable-Sized droplet technology.  Epson’s unique Nozzle Verification Technology, (NVT) helps prevent misprints.  NVT is an auto nozzle check system can be performed before every job or can be set to run automatically between jobs during unattended printing.

The award-winning Epson UltraChrome XD2 ink set is smudge-proof and water- and UV-resistant, and delivers deep blacks and crisp, dense lines, ideal for technical graphics, and the vibrant colours necessary for high-quality prints and posters, on coated and non-coated media from 0.05mm to 0.3mm thick. Weather-resistant technology found in the UltraChrome XD2 ink means fieldwork drawings and GIS materials are suitable for short-term outdoor use.  The high capacity 4 colour (CMYK) UltraChrome XD2 pigment ink set is available in both 110 and 35oml sizes.
